The Cubs traded Jaque Jones for an infielder Omar Infante. Jaque was traded to the Detroit tigers.

The Cubs just made the playoffs along with the Angels, The Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Clevland Indians, New york Yankees, the Phillies, and a team yet to be determined.

The Cubs lost 5-2 sadly and they are out of first. They will get back. Go Cubs.

Hi viewers I have been very very very busy!!!!!!! the Cubs have been 5-1 since the last time I wrote so they are doing pretty good! They are in 1st place by 1 game. The Cardnials are 7 games back and the Cincinnati Reds are not much behind the Cardnials. Go Cubbies

Cubs Won

Today was Lou piniella's birthday.The cubs won 5-3 and the Cardials moved up to second place. The Cubs were losing for a while then they had a huge inning and that's how we won.

Today The Cubs had off

The Cubs have one of the biggest sereis of the year except the playoffs it is verse the Brewers. I am going to the game tomorrow. The Cubs are only infront of the Brewers by a game and a half and there are only 33 games left counting tomorrow. Lets go cubs.

Cubs win

The Cubs are now tied for first with the Brewers. Jacque Jones got a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 6th. The Cubs won 2-1.

Cubs Lose to the Reds

The Cubs lost 6-5 to the Reds but Derrek Lee, Aramis Rameriz, and Jacque Jones got homeruns today. In the ninth inning Matt Murton almost got a Homer so did Mike but the game was over after Mike Fontenot batted. Carlos Zambrano is now 14-9. This is the third time failing to get 15 wins. The Cubs are still only behind the Brewers by Half a game.

Cubs game July 31, 2007

Early off in the game Jacque Jones lost the ball. It went straight over his head for a ground rule double. Ryan Howard was 0 for 3. The Cubs Won 7-3 and in the 8th inning it was Carlos Marmol's first at bat of the season. He hit a foul ball to an upper deck section I was sitting in. It came down A guy behind me sat in that same spot for 22 years and a ball has never come to him. That day, the ball headed toward him but he missed it and it rolled down. My dad grabbed it and he gave it to me. It was my first ball ever. Now I keep it in my drawer, right next to the ticket. Later, after the game, I was walking down the street to go to Salt and Pepper. I saw my soccer coach, oddly. I told him I got a ball and he said "so did I." Out of 40,000 or something people not many people got a ball. That was the best day of my life so far! Yet more to come.
